If you cannot make a class, please contact your instructor to inform her that you will not be there. When reasonable and appropriate, your instructor will do her best to accommodate you.

Are classes beginner friendly?

Athletic Flow and Core Sculpt and Strengthen are beginner-friendly because they are taken at a slower pace, use less equipment, and there are plenty of modifications given. Power Pilates does not require extensive Pilates experience; however, it does require a good level of fitness, as the class is faster-paced, more challenging and is targeted towards those looking to progress their Pilates strength.

Can I come to pilates when I'm injured?

You must always seek medical clearance to participate in Pilates in circumstances concerning injury, health problems, pregnancy etc. You must also always inform your instructor of any relevant injuries or medical concerns PRIOR to participating in class. Pilates is a great way to recover from an injury and build strength back up when your doctor, physio etc has given you the go-ahead. Pilates is also excellent at preventing future injuries. In summary, it is safe and beneficial to do Pilates off the back of an injury, provided you have been medically cleared to do so.
